Atlanta Falcons 53 Man Roster Projection

By Matt Karoly

The Atlanta Falcons wrapped up the 2018 preseason with a 34-7 defeat at the hands of the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night. With the loss, the Falcons finished the exhibition schedule with an 0-4 record for the second consecutive year.

However, that means very little in the grand scheme of the things. The good news is Atlanta enters the regular season with a fairly clean bill of health with Blidi Wreh-Wilson’s status to be determined.

All that’s left now is to determine what players will walk into Lincoln Financial Field for the regular season opener. With that said, I present to you my one and only 53 man roster projection for the Falcons.

Oh happy day! Today officially marks the beginning of another year of Atlanta Falcons football. In a few short hours, the Falcons will kick off the 2018 preseason against the New York Jets.

By Cory Woodroof

The Atlanta Falcons’ second preseason game was like a game of Who’s Line is It Anyway – it was a cataclysm of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Wait a second that’s not right. Well, I mean, it kind of is when you think about it.

In a trip to the Steel City, the Falcons’ starters throttled the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starters (well, the ones not including the team’s three best players, Big Ben, Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, who are all very good), and the Steelers’ reserves throttled the Falcons’ reserves. All in all, it was just some dumb preseason game in a city known for putting French fries on sandwiches (which tastes good, for what it’s worth). Continue reading

By Cory Woodroof

Happy Summer (or, well, almost summer), Falcons fans!

The heat is getting blistering once more as our fearless fowls of the football field work tirelessly again to return to postseason glory. But, for now, things have slowed down a bit.

As Falcons fans, we have to do our own finger twiddling until training camp begins. There’s nothing going on for the NFL right now. Literally nothing. It is boring until training camp starts. Continue reading
