On Sunday, the Falcons will begin their march back up the Super Bowl hill in the Windy City against the Chicago Bears, a team looking to prove they’re more than their shaky roster and warm-seated coaching staff, for their season opener Sunday. Continue reading
Why, hello there, Falcons faithful! It’s podcast time!
Mike and Cory return for another great edition of the Rise Up Reader Podcast. This week, they’re joined by Adam Jones, a Falcons fan and Rise Up Reader who also was a former football coach in Georgia. Adam helps the guys break down the Pittsburgh Steelers preseason game and a few topics of note in the headlines. Continue reading
The Atlanta Falcons’ second preseason game was like a game of Who’s Line is It Anyway – it was a cataclysm of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Wait a second that’s not right. Well, I mean, it kind of is when you think about it.
In a trip to the Steel City, the Falcons’ starters throttled the Pittsburgh Steelers’ starters (well, the ones not including the team’s three best players, Big Ben, Antonio Brown, Le’Veon Bell, who are all very good), and the Steelers’ reserves throttled the Falcons’ reserves. The Rise Up Reader Podcast is back with another fine edition of Falcons jabbing and gabbing, this time with The Falcons Wire’s Andy Gallagher joining Mike and Cory for the fun. Continue reading
Happy Summer (or, well, almost summer), Falcons fans!
The heat is getting blistering once more as our fearless fowls of the football field work tirelessly again to return to postseason glory. But, for now, things have slowed down a bit.
As Falcons fans, we have to do our own finger twiddling until training camp begins. There’s nothing going on for the NFL right now. Literally nothing. It is boring until training camp starts. Continue reading
In lieu of draft grades, the Rise Up Reader Falcons 2017 Draft Recap will be updating thoughts on the four (or more, depending on a trade) draft picks the team makes over the three-day stretch of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Feel free to share your thoughts about the new Falcons with us in the comments!
So, without further ado…
