Falcons 2018 Position Review: Wide Receiver

By Gabe Gonzalez

The offseason is in full swing, with trades (the Chiefs got absolutely fleeced), mock drafts, and your favorite draft “expert” giving Lamar Jackson a second-round grade. The Atlanta Falcons are coming off an above average 10-6 redemption season that fell flat on its back on the two-yard line in the Divisional Round of the playoffs. This Super Bowl-depraved team is starving for a ring, and so is the rest of the fan base. Maybe 2018 will be the year?

It me, Atlanta Falcons fixer-upper.

To write one of these articles would seem to indicate this Falcons team is one due for wholesale changes. To that, I laugh openly and heartedly. No, a team coming off a Divisional Playoff loss to the one seed, after a season that took them to the Super Bowl, is not due for a renovation on either side of the ball. Continue reading

Rise Up Reader Falcons/Bills 2017 Preview

By Cory Woodroof

Ladies and gentlemen, your Atlanta Falcons are 3-0.

It’s a good thing! The Falcons, coming off the worst ending to a season ever, have won two of their eight road games, and have beaten Aaron Rodgers, to start the year. The offense has put up 30 or more the last two games, and the defense is finally starting to come together. Though, they’re a bit nicked up right now on both sides of the ball, and a surprising 2-1 Buffalo Bills team is set to make the trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

So, before the early bye week, the team will close out the quarter mark of the season with a home stand against the stampede. How will they fare? Let’s take a look-see, shall we? Continue reading
