Atlanta Falcons rookie DE Takk McKinley made his preseason debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, letting his immediate presence be known.
McKinley played ten snaps Sunday, notching one quarterback hit and two quarterback hurries. It was a strong debut for the first round pick, who is coming off a pre-draft shoulder surgery.
The UCLA export showed his speed and relentless style, also putting a nice display for his ability to bull rush. He landed a nasty hit on Steelers QB Josh Dobbs that makes for a fine first highlight as a Falcon.
Video specialist Daniel Spencer took a look at McKinley’s debut, breaking down how promising the young pass rusher looked.
